Practiced Sustainability: The Frosch Initiative
The sustainability engagement from Werner & Mertz, the company behind Frosch, takes shape in the "Frosch Initiative". Since its founding in 2012, the Frosch Initiative has spurred the search for new, sustainable solutions in environmental protection and resource conservation.
For one thing, we invite other companies to join our Recyclate Initiative and to find new ways to recycle and to develop new, sustainable material cycles.
In our initiative for European cultivation we also conduct research into the use of European oil-producing plants such as sunflowers, rapeseed, flax and olives in our plant-based surfactants.
Last but not least, we set our stake on EMAS , which is now the most demanding environmental management system for companies.
